TAP INTO ST. PAUL'S ACADEMY FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES

Dear Parent,

Thank you for inquiring about St. Paul’s Academy’s Tuition Assistance Program.  As an independent school, we are moving forward by continuing to improve our education environment at all levels.  I know the choice of your children’s education is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make for them. Cost is certainly a consideration, but when considering the cost, you should also consider the value.

Families looking for quality education often consider independent schools such as SPA. These families understand the benefits of private education - small classes, excellent teaching, close student-teacher relationships, and a strong sense of community. The educational advantages private school provides give students the foundation they need to continue achieving. To give more students an opportunity to benefit from a private school education, St. Paul’s Academy has established a tuition assistance program for students.

It is important to remember that St. Paul’s Academy must be self-sufficient for our annual operating costs.  As a result, we have to place limitations on the total funds available for tuition assistance.  In an effort to keep the award process both fair and confidential, St. Paul’s Academy contracts with an outside company for the analysis of financial need.

To assess a family’s need for financial assistance, St. Paul’s Academy utilizes an independent agency called the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), which is overseen by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). SSS provides member schools with an objective methodology for calculating a family’s ability to contribute to educational expenses.  SSS does not make an award, but using the information provided by parents, suggests appropriate guidelines for the school to make an award based on a family’s particular situation and the school’s resources.

Please take a few moments to review the enclosed tuition assistance information to learn more about this exciting opportunity. SPA looks forward to keeping the parents informed as we make exceptional strides throughout the school year.

Regards,
